Thank you Sebastian.
Nice to have you posting here.

It sure seems like a nice dolly, I have a couple questions regarding the bazooka two stages with gas spring part n°107028:
1_what is the advantage of the gas spring system ?
2_considering its payload of 200kg/440lb, would it be possible to a attach on top of it, the turn attachment part n°100374 in order to seat to operators on top of the bazooka ?

Thanks

Emmanuel

what's the price in euro?

Should be between 6'000€ and 7'000€.
And that's without bazooka and seats, but with the twin wheels.

Emmanuel

Hi,

a) the Euro Price is app. 7.000

Emmanuel:

re. your bazooka questions:

The advantage of the gas loaded bazooka is, that due to the gas support, an adjustment of the camera height is easily possible without removing the mounted camera from the riser. The gas springs in the bazooka push the columns up with app. 200lbs. So, in therory, if the payload is exactly the same as the force of the gas springs, it could be used as a pedastal (as I said, just in theory, but it should help explaining the advantage).

- re. the Turnstile attachment: well, to be honest, I have never seen anyone doing it, even though it might be possible, you would have to custom make an adapter from Euro (Bazooka) to a plate with three holes (Turnstile). the payload would hold it, but the better way would be to use seat extensions to rise the seat height insetad of mounting the turnstile on top of the bazooka. You want to keep the center of gravity of moving parts like turning seats as low as possible.

Did that answer your questions?

Sebastian

Thank you again Sebastian.

I would need a clarification of the sentence :"it could be used as a pedastal".
I'm not sur what you mean there.
As for my idea of attaching the seats on top of the bazooka, since it doesn't seem like a common practice, I think I'll leave that to more adventurous operators.

Yours

Emmanuel

ok, what i wanted to say was, that if both forces/payloads are the same, it would be balanced (like a crane) and could be moved with one finger up and down ... was just a theoratical, nobody would do that, but i mentioned it to show, that with the gas spring support, even with a camera package on top, you can adjust the height easily .... sorry, just forget about that "pedastal theory", totally confusing (i'm good in that ... I'm German :-) )

Hi Ludmux

Could you get us a quote for the GFM Quad Dolly?

As well as for bazooka and seats.

Thanks

Emmanuel

FYI, Panther product including this dolly will be in the Abel booth at NAB.
