I don't know if this was posted already...

Panasonic announced the AG-HPX170, which is a lot like the HVX-200, and has HD-SDI output.

http://studiodaily.com/main/news/9345.html
AJ-HPX3700 and AJ-HPX2700, new Varicams that shoot AVC-Intra 50 and 100 as well as DVCPRO-HD. 1080p.

AG-HMC150, although announced before, we now know that it is 24Mbs and $4,500 USD.

And 64GB P2 cards.

That's all so far I think...

AG-HPX170 still sports P2 cards??

the VariCam 3700 records in full-raster 1920x1080 resolution in AVC-intra 100, and records in AVC-Intra 50 and DVCPRO HD as well. Its variable frame rate function has a range from 1fps to 30 fps in 1-frame increments, and it is equipped with three HD-SDI outputs (dual-link plus monitor).

Still no 1080p overcranking?? How many decades is it going to take?

He he.

I'm going to just forget about all the other cameras at NAB and just read about Scarlet, RED ONE and EPIC.

It's kind of *sad* that the big guns like Panasonic and Sony can barely get any attention away from Red. What is it that they are missing?

What is Sony and Panasonic missing??

People with passion - "most" of the employees at these
companies approach their jobs as a ticket to retirement.
Kiss up to the Japanese masters and
don't reach out to really push and do some
innovation. For once an American company is
doing this and it's about time we are kicking some foreign ass.

I was mainly excited about the HMC-150...but looks like it's going to be a bit more expensive than I would have liked. Still a great DVX replacement IMO.

I'm gonna wait a few more months and pick up Scarlet for less money and more camera. Could have been a great DVX replacement, but they just got blown out of the water IMHO. I guess they still have the quick turn around time with AVCHD on their side compared to the processing that Red Code takes.

Why would the Japanese start selling 'aluminum' when they've sold 'plastic' so successfully for so many years? It will take them 3-4 years (at least) before they start smelling the roses. I feel bad for them.

Panasonic has a proven workflow and their cameras producing great images FOR THEIR MARKET SEGMENT.

I think some of you are trying to compare apples to oranges.
