Hi Everyone,

I have a Panisonic 1710 monitor in need of a backside mount that would connect to a c-stand, baby and junior preferably. Having a hard time locating via google search. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Nice suggestions. The Nebtek I looked into but wanted something a little more compact like the Mathews... both interesting. Thanks

I have the combo stud / desk stand adapter thing that Abel sells, and it's one of the very few bits of equipment I've bought from them that I'm not very happy with.

It fits in their custom case for the Panny 17" but that's about all I can say for it.

I DIT'd a gig last year for Florian, and he had one of these:

I bought one awhile back, and am super happy with it. It's sturdy, locks at any angle, and it flips over for steadicam work if your camera or monitor doesn't support an invert function.

Pretty cheap too.

I also recommend a rolling stand with a wide base, a lot more stable than a C-stand. On this particular shoot and others I've seen a monitor on a bagged stand get tagged by talent or crew and go over. On this shoot a boxer hit it, and it was on it's way to the floor, only a quick Grip saved the day.

Best,

Steve

Have you checked with CineCrew, I have their yolk, really light and compatible
Works on 750 and 2K spigot

PM me I'll send you their info as I got it from DV Shop in Toronto

I have the Matthews mount and find it works quite well.
