Hey Guys
I just bought a set of Paglink batteries and I have the red one battery plate and it seems that the battery doesnt fully connect with the plate. If I touch the battery when its connected it shut my camera off. Has anyone heard of this? If so what plates work with paglink and the red one?

Thanks.

Yes! I tried one of my friends dyno batteries and had no problems at all.

The banana contact pins in the Red plate have a tendency to compress and not spring back resulting in poor contacts. Check them closely and if necessary use a pin or small slot headed instrument screwdriver to prise out the contact springs to make better contact with the batteries.

So Eric are you saying do this every time I put the battery on or just once to fix it? It's a problem I only know exists when it happens and my camera turns off.

I would rather get the battery solution that works the best now then having to rig my equipment during shoots. Any suggestions on plates that would work better or a better battery solution?

Not every time. Just something to keep an eye on if the battery starts playing up again.

IDX brand V-Lock plates and Anton Bauer plates are industry standard and reliable, and more expensive!
