Have a new field recording setup and I'm finding that toting the pop screen and arm is sort of clumsy and delicate. How do you pro's transport these things with tearing them up?

I've switched a number of my pop filters to the Rycote InVision series in part because I hated fumbling with storing necks.

The pros: great sound quality, small footprint, and easily removable/replaceable meshes that can be carried around in a bag or sandwiched between cardboard when not in use.

The clear con is that the mounting design requires a shockmount (it pairs best with their Rycote USM mount, which are also excellent mounts, but it can be wedged onto most others that have a bar for the clamp to attach to, check the specs), and you lose the arm so it can be a little more difficult to position in a multi mic setup.

thanks David. Checking them out. Blue also makes a wired mesh one that mounts to their mics and there is no ungainly neck to mess with.
