Tlorenzo you're acting here as a sort of "cop" or even you asked question like a "cop".
Here there are nobody you could call "someone" in a way.
There are the people from P+S Technik that took those pictures.
And also those pictures are "owned" by P+S Technik Development Department and I'm sure nobody can see it except them.
To explain you that this is a part of P+S Technik developmet process if you could accept it and understand somehow.
Please no any more funny observations and questions like this.
Leica M?!...
Are you sure? The ffd is very very small. Hope you're right.
The P+S Technik sounds great. I am only wondering, will it work for ALL lenses in a supported mount? It is possible that lenses with deep or especially thick rear elements might not fit.
Let's wait and see. I'm optimistic.
If you look at the P&S system, the flange for the interchangable mount sits right up next to the sensor, in order to work with so many different mounts. Most likely, the reason they took the front of the camera off, was because they would have to either completely modify and remove the PL mount from the Red, or put a whole new machined front on the camera.
This is not going to be as simple as the nikon mount, and is most likely going to cost a whole bunch of money. It will be really painfull for those of us without euros.

Sanjin, I'm sure everyone appreciates your willingness to become a guinea pig. But with that said, is this really necessary for you to sacrifice your warranty and even perhaps possibly end up with a ruined Red (if things don't go perfectly well)?
Seems like this is a perfect job for one of the original Reds #'s 1-100, that got replaced with 1x - 100x. I don't know what the plans are for those cameras, but if Red would send one over to P+S for evaluation, this seems like a perfect match.
HI Sanjin,
any more news or pics about the new nikon mount enanched with positive lock??
It's a great solution to many of us who would love to use more than one lens system. The best solution is for RED to offer this mounting system as an option on the RED body when purchasing it. The concept of the RED ONE is versatility and non obsolescence, right?
