Even after teaching film at an arts university for more than twenty years I'm still learning every day from this forum. And, believe me, I embraced electronic technologies at a very early stage. My personal focus is on post production.
Being probably one of the first universities in Europe to own a RED soon, I can make a specific offer: teaching about all things RED, in particular we are already taking a very close look at the post workflow. Our professor for camerawork is an equally experienced DOP who has over 25 years of camerawork behind him, with international prices in avantgarde films, but very successfull commercials as well.
Since we are no competitors (we are a non-profit state university and not allowed to do commercial work), we can give neutral advice and treat everybody who seeks training or advice equally. I hope we can help to make the transition into the age of electronic cinematography as smooth as possible for those who are coming from the traditional craft. We are located in the heart of Europe, not far from Berlin.
BTW, I speak some French and Spanish too…

long and painful, but now we are proud parents and pamper our little toddlers. Because of the anticipation we became also very accustom to the habit of being active here on the REDUSER, which you want it or not became the best educational place.
