Ownership transfer question

Found a dragon that I am wanting to purchase, after visiting with seller he stated he did not transfer ownership when he bought cam used....are there any issues with this?

I would check with RED directly to see if the camera number can be transferred without the original owners o.k., if the original owner cannot be contacted. If not, you would be buying a wild-type camera without direct access to firmware updates.

Thanks! The original seller and second seller are friends, this helps.
will contact Red directly, cam A dragon was new, this would be a Cam B used purchase, just being careful.
