OWC Mercury Elite Pro vs G-Raid 4tb RAID

[Tom Chase]

So I need a more storage - I'm debating between the G-Raid 4th or the OWC Mercury Elite Pro 4th Raid.... I'm looking at these because of eSATA since I'm running a pre-thunderbolt Mac Pro

any suggestions or issues?

Thanks

Tommy

I've had NUMEROUS issues with GDrive products over the past year and a half. I've been telling everyone to avoid them like the plague. OWC stuff has been solid for me.

I have the OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual 4TB RAID drive hooked up via Thunderbolt and it's been working great so far.

I'm a little biased since they are sponsoring my film but my AKiTiO Thunder 2 Quad and the new quad mini have been working great for me. They also make a thunderbolt hub if you need esata.
