OS X 10.5.4 Question

Is it safe to update my mac to 10.5.4 and quicktime to 7.5 ?

There used to be a warning on the support page but it is gone, so is it OK to get everything up to date on the operating system and quicktime side?

All Red software updated

All systems go... But:
we do have the green screen problem now when working with proxies.
Just finished a 3 day spot - Green screens showed up randomly.

Same here. this allows FCP 6.0.4 and the latest RED LAT plug-in. Once I upgraded, the green falsh frame issue disappeared.

Only upgrade quicktime to 7.5 if you are using Leopard OS - this directly from Red. The upgrade is approved, but must be both OS and quicktime.

I am not using the L&T method, but working with proxies.
Are you saying that upgrading the L&T should make a difference?
Did you have green flashes with ProRes or Proxies?

First Light, should users upgrade to QT 7.5 and NOT the system to 10.5.4 ?
what do you mean "must be both OS & QT" ?
