Organizing releases and feedback

It gets harder and harder to find anything on REDuser and there is not much structure in the postings.

At least for the REDcine-X forum can we start a topic for every version and OS, than place the download link and release notes in the first post and reserve the second post for known problems or reported issues. Might want to make it sticky too.

If the moderator updates that second post everybody can see if their problem has been reported or not and if previous problems should be fixed.
Should be easier for Deanan too. Hey and what about a third posting with future plans so the same requests don't need to be repeated over and over?

I totally agree, that's what I've already suggested once. Let's make it happen !

I've always felt the www.red.com/support site should have it's own "beta" or "preview release" section, like they previously did for the camera builds. Leave the "release" page just as it is; but create a second page that makes the beta versions available in an organized, linear manner (i.e. REDCine-X 94, 100, 104, etc.).

Perhaps this is too much of a liability for RED to maintain, but it would certainly make my life easier, as opposed to constantly checking numerous forum threads, scouring for the latest and greatest. If you issue a clear disclaimer that software found on the "beta" page is exactly that, users should understand they are downloading / using at their own peril.
