Hi all,
New to Red here.
I'm about to start cutting R1/Epic projects in Premiere CS6, possibly FCPX, on one of Apple's upcoming 27" iMacs.
I need to place the order:
I'm maxing the processor (3.4 Quad i7), upgrading to 32GB of RAM, and was wondering what to do about the video card.
I've played with R3D files in Premiere CS6 on my current, 2.8 GHz Quad i7, 16GB RAM, Radeon 4850 512 MB video card, and believe it or not...things run pretty smooth.
So should I get the 1GB or 2GB GeForce? Will the 2GB make a significant difference? I also use After Effects a fair amount...so if it will boost that performance I'm definitely onboard for the 2GB.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
