  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Ordering from Europe. No deposit?

Same here. Last time i ordered it was like using the credit card as you buy a movie ticket. Now you go throw europe its more wierd. The two options i have gotten is credit card and wire transfer. I think i go to the bank tomorrow and wire the money if i dont solve it with the credit card tonight.
 
Hm, how did you order from Europe? I went to red.com and ordered there, I thought I'd be automatically redirected to red Europe store but I wasn't and paid the deposit in $ ?
How did your order confirmation look, did you get an automatic email or something? Do you have something under 'Open Orders' on your red.com account because I haven't and I'm starting to think something went wrong?
 
Yes I have the orders under open orders. I also ordered a T-shirt earlier today and to that a guy from bombsquad contacted me. He never explained how I should pay with the credit card so I understand. I got a form to fill in but i like to do it as in the "us store". I have to gotten any answers on my latest orders yet. Guess they have may orders to send answers to.

Nothing on my 'Open Orders', I'm sure I did everything accordingly. Joel, can you tell me how long it took for the order to show up under your 'Open Orders'? Was it there immidiately?
 
I have no idea. I only checked it when you asked for it.
 
I just ordered and and read it was a success as earlier today with the t-shirt. I guess the only ploblem is that the guy that should contact me is busy at the moment.
 
So did you pay using credit card on the site? or did you fill in a from and mailed back?
 
I filled in a form, then agreed to terms & conditions. From then on I can't remember anything ;) I'm worried that I didn't get any confirmation at all.
 
Thanks! Yeah I will. Would just have felt better if it were easy to chash it. I go to the bank tomorrow and do a wiretranfer and be done with it. Cheers mate!
 
Same here for me in the UK. I went through the process of putting items in the cart, went to check out with credit card at the ready, but there was no option to pay deposit at any point. Confirmation order came through with amount to "be payed today" but no place or means given to pay it. There is a bank number for the remainder of the payment, but that is not to be paid until the rep contacts you with the final total.
 
Yea at least we should be in the que now. After a good sleep I guess they have fixed the orders. A bit enjoying thoe it have to be this hard to just cash it!

Now off to bed all you crazy Europeans (or get a huge cup of coffee and off to work like me)!
 
You don't yet get an option to pay via CC online for RED Europe. Your online order will be passed to them via the system and you will get an email invoice from them, then once you have confirmed shipping details etc you can pay via bank transfer or credit card (pass details by phone/email). Heads up......a new policy applies a 2% fee to credit card payments (not applicable to debit cards).
