  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Ordered Sacarlet Nov 8th. Still Don`t have it. Is it Normal?

Hi Folks,

I ordered my Scarlet Al Canon mount package on November 8th and I still don`t have it. 4 Weeks ago I was told that I would get it within 3 Weeks, and now i`m being told that I will get it next friday. I expect it to be delivery in Miami.

Is this wait time normal?

I`m asking this because I`ve read about people that ordered around the same dat as I did (November 7th - 10th) And already got theirs for one month. I`ve also read about people that ordered it almost two months after me and are already receiving it.

I was also told I would have to wait

I don`t want to sound like a complainer, I just want to know if there are other people on the same situation as I am.

I knew that having placed my order just a few days after the announcement would make me wait a lot. I just didn`t know it would be that much, I was hoping to get it at mid February at most.

But if this is indeed normal, them I undertand.

You should contact your bomb squad rep about that... I don't know anyone who ordered in early November who hasn't received their Scarlet yet.
 
Well, it seens to be 100% sure I will receive it on Friday, but as I undertand, i will not get the side handle just yet. Wich is a bummer since again, I`ve read about people ordering way after me, receive theirs side handle also.

I just wanted to have an idea of when people that ordered the package around the same date as I did got theirs.

Why it took so long is what I really wanted to know.
 
Hey Rodrigo, sorry to hear about the long wait. It really sucks waiting for Scarlet....in fact, by the time I got mine, I was so OVER waiting, that it almost ruined the excitement of finally receiving it....especially when others got theirs well before me and ordered after me. And to top it off, like you, I had no way to power it cos my side handle was no where in site. I'm sure you'll get it soon, and yeah. I don't have anything helpful to say other than I feel your pain. It's worth the wait and kudos for staying so calm hehe :)
 
FWIW Ordered Nov3rd - received Feb. 17th. Side handle a week later.... was the 1000+ in line (based on ORDER numbers, which may be misleading)
There is a Registry/Orders Placed thread here with all this data on it so you can see a LOT of buyer's info re dates etc...

Scarlet is now In Stock, and I still have not received mine, even having ordered 4 months ago...
