hi,

am getting orange noise in the picture with 4 stops of ND with latest build of 17, no ir filter in. whats the reaqson how can it be fixed. firmare issue of what??

however its been tested with 3 different bodys and is only doing it with one. the other 2 hold up fine without an ir filter in but this one just doesn't seem to like it. why don't the other 2 bodys show this noise??? could there be an issure with the 3rd body??

Do you use the same colour balance and other settings on all bodies? It is easy to accidentaly press the user button 1. If all is the same and one camera recods differently then get a support ticket.

Post a picture.

I wonder if RED has changed the OLPF formula? What are the serials of the cameras? Seems like Black Shading is more likely the issue.

IR levels can change quickly and are inconsistent day to day. unless the cameras were all lined up and shooting at the same time the discrepancy is most likely due to different IR levels. Use Hot mirror ND and shoot a grey card clean to remove the green color cast the Hot mirrors create
