Just a quick heads up:
I'll be at the Ste-Man/ Manios Digital Booth showing several new and current products:
-the new Wireless HDMI unit- Small, lightweight, self contained receiver/monitor/ battery(see pic) Tested OK on RedOne to about 120 ft.
- Super tranflective 7" monitor- no need for shade any more
- PL2EOS adapter
-Shoulder rig(should work on Scarlet) with power source and HDMI splitter.
- Optimator and Scope- a complete solution for owner/ operator to calibrate lenses and camera.:thumbup1:
Email me with specifics or if you think your questions are beneficial to other users post here.
Come in tomorrow to the Los Angeles Convention Center and check it out!!!

Edit:
Just thought I'd mention what's coming up but not available for tomorrow yet:
Hi rez HDMI EVF convertible to 3" LCD EX3 style
USB Follow Focus For Canons- through DSLR camera USB ONLY!!!!(finally) the poor Canon lenses were never meant for gearing and external motors- they already have motors inside duh!!!!!!

Showbiz presence and Community day

Showbiz presence and Community day

Will you be a Red Community Day next week?
I'm not sponsoring the community day unfortunately- too late, too little...
We could meet there privately , just arrange through the email below. I'm about 40 min drive from the Red studios.

I'm set for tomorrow at the Show Biz. I may do Sunday if there is a need for it...
See you guys there...:thumbup1:

Jacek, please tell Steve Manios that Larry and Gina say hello. Super guy. You will be in great company at that booth.

Go back almost 20 years- We did some travelling together( with junior- I wouldn't dare travel with Steve Sr.:wink5:) in the early days of Cartoni USA. I was the main tech guy for him..:thumbup1:

HDMI transmitter/receiver

HDMI transmitter/receiver

what is the pricing (or approximate pricing) for the wireless HDMI transmitter/receiver?

I second the question, "what is the pricing (or approximate pricing) for the wireless HDMI transmitter/receiver?"

Not to hijack the thread or anything... (gee that has never happened to me at all)

Brite-view airsynchd is available today for $200.

Add $200 for mounting and power accessories and you have a (in some ways) better than camwave device for $400.
Did they change the PCB design so it's not a set top box size?
Pretty hard to use it with a 7" monitor.
Thanks for the bump anyway.
I did correct my mistake will you?
You just can't handle the suspense on pricing can you.:reddevil: Learn form the best you are on Red forum and there is no better place on the internet to learn web marketing- at least for this industry.
My unit is much smaller and will cost a little more depending on battery size option and the final pricing from my vendors.
1lb 14oz including 3 hr battery and super bright 7" monitor or 2 lbs with a super bright hi res 10" monitor.
Monitors are separate so not included in this pricing.

Mitch and Rion $450 to $800 depending on above mentioned options.
This is a rough estimate- I don't have all final quotes yet so don't hold me to it.

Jacek,

Depending on options, sounds good to me. Thanks for answering the pricing question.

Here is another question: What exactly did you mean by "PCB design"?

Too Big!!!

Too Big!!!

It simply means that the form factor of the other one is not right-. It was designed as a set top box for home theater. In order to make it right they have to "shrink" the design if you will....

When can I guy the USB follow focus. Several people have them "coming" but I want one now! :)

Great news Jacek!

I am pretty interesting on your Wireless HDMI unit & 7" Monitor,
just wondering when will be these products on the market?

Shipping when?

Okay, fair enough, Thanks.

When do you estimate working models will be ready for shipping?

Now that we know it works on Epic as well:
4 weeks to get the components made and assembled for the wireless kit.
7" super transflective monitors are available now.
10" monitors normal brighteness are available now- super transflective in 4-6 weeks

How much for the 7" monitor and what are the specs?

Very much Interested!!
