I paid for two on July 5th. I have not heard anything about my two shipping as of today. Jarred announced, on 8/3, that the mount has been approved by RED. Jacek announced, on 8/4, that it is shipping in limited quantites and will be an avalanche in a few weeks.

Hi Guys,
We had a little hardware delay- sorry about the backup.
We are working thru the orders this weekend so we ship from Monday on.
All that paid will have units shipped from first batch.
Second batch due in 3-4 weeks.
Just a little initial logistics work needed to be done....
I would like to thank for the tremendous support of the community- we couldn't do this without it...:thumbsup:

Been using the EPIC Nikon mount for a while now and YES...it is as tough and rugged as the R1 mount he has made....you will not be let down with the mount.....I'll be shooting it underwater next month.....great product

I received one of my EPIC Optitek Nikon mounts today. Simple to install and even includes the necessary tool to swap mounts. I will go out and test tomorrow.

I ordered last week.

At that time Jacek said the next batch was due in 3-4 weeks so I'm hoping for end of September.

Should be good timing for my Stage 2 Epic X, which I'm hoping will arrive in October.

My belief is the first batch cleared out most of the original orders, and the next batch (the one in 3-4 weeks) clears out everything since.
