I've been using/tweaking the Helix for a while and still having some trouble getting it to be completely smooth with the epic when physically running. I've seen some test footage of people running and it looks pretty stable. Can anyone share the profiles they're using?

I have a bit of issue with their RED profile as well. I tweaked a bit, but I did not have enough time to experiment well. Just used it one day.
I'd like to know what others use.

As with most gimbal's...full sprinting/running is going to produce some jittery/over compensated stabilization vibrations when shooting at standard capture frame rates of 24/29fps. Overcranking, if possible, makes these shots much more stable.

If overcranking the shot isn't possible, adjust the motor gains for these scenarios (think that's doable on the Letus). Also, try and bend your arms a bit while running, as that tends to help almost act as suspension. Never run with a gimbal support system like Exhauss or Tilta as it really limits what you can do.

I've also used carts before and having grips push/pull me while I sat down on the top shelf...produces a great effect and limits most/if not all of the vibrations you would typically see at high speeds.

You might want to look into the Pro upgrade (SHOWN BELOW) for the standard Helix... It provides a front ring support with 19mm Rod system that has solved jitter that is being talked about from more extreme movements handheld and on Steadicam.
As I know it.. when you have all the camera & lens/ect weight out there all supported by the connection between the rods and camera plate, more extreme moves can cause jitter in gimbals without support for the camera plate.. if that makes sense.

Thanks...that does make sense...but it looks like a huge pain in the ass to carry and way too expensive for me :)
