Optex/Canon 10.5-210mm T 2.4, Arri PL mount. Pelican case with custom cut foam insert. Lens is in absolutely mint condition apart from minor wear from clamp-on Matte Boxes and the included Sunshade. This is a S16 lens with a huge 20x zoom. Mechanics are butter smooth with zero crunch or other imperfections. Zoom rod included.
The Optics are perfect with zero scratches or lens cleaning marks. This lens has never been dry hired or abused in a rental capacity-not by me or the previous owner. Speaking of which, I purchased this lens from another Red User in anticipation of using it on an Outdoors TV show that I was Producing/Shooting and for several SEC sports gigs that I used to Field Produce/Shoot... Since then I have moved to a new Market and my needs are vastly different. So I find myself selling a zoom that I absolutely love but rarely use in order to purchase some much needed post gear.
This Lens sold new for $28,500 in 2002 and in the spirit of Red User... My first come, first serve, firm price is $8K. Buyer pays insurance and shipping... I will NOT sell without Insurance. If the lens does not sell, then I will gladly keep it and put it on the Scarlet 3K w/pl mount.
My e-mail is sektor26@gmail.com and I am located in Chicago in South Loop for those in the area that may want to check out it with the intent to purchase.
Thank you for your consideration and Happy New Years to Everyone here at Red User!
Cheers,
Andrew Benz
