Hey everyone,
Letting go of my 'little' s16 primes. These lenses have been my workhorse s16 primes for a decade. I purchased this set from a DP in LA and have used them on almost every project I've worked on since then, in one way or another.
These are the 'hard mount' PL mounts—no arri bayo to pl garbage on these. They've been babied since I got them (serviced often) and were serviced just before this sale (at duall in NYC) for almost $1000 for the set (see the last photo). I don't want anyone using these in less than tip-top shape!
The color of these is warmer than a zeiss ss mk ii, but about the same amount of contrast. The color is like halfway between an angenieux s16 HR zoom and a cooke s4, in that it's 'golden' without being 'yellow'. Look up some examples online if you want to know what I mean!
And these have definitely come back in style, now that most digital cameras can get 2k (or on the helium sensor, 4k+!) out of s16 lenses.
Ships in a peli hard case, so they'll get there safe.
