Has anyone opened up a red charger? I've got a bit of plastic rattling around in mine that I'd like to remove. Well, I HOPE it's plastic! TIA for any input.

I did because the fan cover had been pushed in and was rubbing against the fan. If you don't have to go too deep, it's simple enough. From what I remember there's quite a lot of screws that you have to remove but I was trying to get to the fan and you might not have to go that far. Start with the recessed screws and good luck.

Note - taking it apart and reassembling is fiddly - as a mains powered device you really should know what you're doing before doing so.

The mains fuse is accessible from the outside next to where the mains connector plugs in. A small slothead screwdriver can lever out the fuse-carrier. Make sure to replace with the same type and rating of fuse.
