I was wondering if anyone has experienced this before. I switched the mounts on a RED ONE from the supplied PL mount to a RED nikon mount. I was hoping to use my Zeiss Planar C/Y lenses.

I went ahead and purchased a Fotodiox C/Y to Nikon adapter. When I attach the Zeiss Planat C/Y 50mm lens, I get an image and I can focus to infinity BUT the image looks as if there was a haze throughout. If I take out the lens and attach a 50mm Nikon lens, the image looks sharp as can be. I know the lenses are sharp as can be as I use them with a 5dmkII.

I suspect that the problem is that the adapter has a built-in 1.4x Multi-Coated Focus Correction lens to adjust for infinity focus...thus messing with the image.

Any ideas how to correct it.

The reason I want to use the Zeiss lenses is because they have been modified by Duclos and I love them.

Any input would greatly be appreciated it.

The adapter is blowing up the image as well, is that something you want?
