Onlining with RedLine ???

Hi Guys !

As we spoke in a other thread... Does anybody has a good script/idea to make the DPX rendering for online through redline? FCP/crimson and avid providing a Redcine XML. So but I wan't to do the onelight in Redalert with the clips which are used in the offline edit and then batch render the pull list in redline. There are really great Automator Actions now out (thanks a lot RED Team) which are also reading the RSX files. So would be great to give the Redrender Automator Action for example the pull list (Redcine XML) as Input.... The make subfolder function should then also create event folders....

Any thoughts ?

Does the Redcine XML have color data in it? If so, then it wouldn't be too hard to write a script to read a Redcine XML file and use Redline to render.

I just checked and Redcine XML doesn't put color data, just in and out.

You need first to get a list with the used files in the edit. After that you can add the color settings in Redalert at these files. So you can read out the color data from the RSX files. It would be great if we could give the Redrender Automator tool a RedcineXML as input.....
