Online 4k Color

Hay guys,
Im very sorry if this post has been done before but I'm really curious as to Grading in Final Cut Studio 2.

I had done a course in grading on FCP, but FCP only uses the RED ONE reference files and also the REDCODE Plugin has been released in non beta for FCP so I'm not too worried about that, But...

Currently the Apple website boasts that Color can edit 2K raw files... seeing as Final Cut Studio is supposed to be an end to end suit will Apple or RED be releasing a patch for playing the 4K files in Color?

There's a couple of issues here, but the easy answer would be:

Color tops off @ 2k and neither FCP nor Color can currently edit RAW.

So... Offline (cut from proxies) in FCP
Conform to online material (DPX/AJA/prores) with crimson & Redline/Redcine
Online in Color

If you are in 25p land, be prepared for workarounds for file-based (dpx) workflows.
