Hi guys,

as I continue to value your opinions, I like to call upon them once again.

Getting (at last) to the Final Stages of Script Development and in to Pre-Production I have the following Q?


I'll be filming several Feature Films to tell the Story "Live Chronicles of KETCHROSSI"

What would you agree sounds better and gives a better sense:

A) "Live Chronicles of KETCHROSSI" with each Film having its own Title, like in LORD of THE RING, was Fellowship of the Ring, then The two Towers and then Return of the King.

or

B) "Live Chronicles of KETCHROSSI" -PERSEVERANCE- I
"Live Chronicles of KETCHROSSI" -PERSEVERANCE- II
"Live Chronicles of KETCHROSSI" -PERSEVERANCE- III

and so on.

Hey Ketch,

I prefer A, where each has a unique title identifier. Like Star Wars, LOTR and others, it renews interest and demonstrates that each film is based around its own topic set.

I, II and III just makes it sound long and drawn out to me, as if you were forced to break it up.

My 2¢ anyway.

Thanks Jim for you reply, as well as thanks to does that have voted so far.

The main reason for this post is because there are this two distinct ways in which this project could be headed, as both stories such as the Rocky and the Godfather sequels use the numeric, and then the Lord of the ring, Harry Patter and chronicles of narnia, use individual names, or subnames to the main title.


In my stories case I started out giving each Sequel its own name under the " Live chronicles of KETCHROSSI" and have been asked to look in to possibly utilizing a single title under the main one, and then use the numeric on the side of it like so


Live chronicles of
KETCHROSSI
"PERSEVERANCE" II​


So I do appreciate the input that I can get and are getting here, as I consider this forum family and trust that any one here (at list most of nay one here) will give advise to my good.


Yes Tom, as this is the Story of my life, based in true events and actually shot world wide in all the locations in which each event tucked place, and the Craigslist event is one of them, which will see the Gunning event replayed in my california house, this time for the sake of the cameras.

This is a cruel world as you have experienced first hand yet never the less you still give the benefit of the doubt...Thats beautiful.

I think you need to first make a careful analysis of the subject, premise, and themes, and then give some deep thought to who your public is and how you want them to receive this work.

Language is so very powerful. Precision is vital if you wish to get through with the words you choose.

Take your time and be deliberate. Don`t treat it like writing fortune cookies, but rather as you would in finding the proper phrase for your own tomb stone.

Remember its Chess not Checkers.

Your approach will make the difference...

Yes I do off course take this very seriously in consideration, and I have already had my way set, but as to give this an extra run before locking it down I wanted to post here, as I know REDUSERS are like me, very opinionated, and looked to get them to share their opinions here with me.

Tom, my friend, I believe if I had seen him walking in to my house with an AK47, things would have gone differently.

But any way, I appreciate your offer, but unless the Criminal was an Asian.

For the why of my "A" vote. Agreeing with whats being said, the descriptive title starts the interest and imagination whereas numbers is just the next installment. And if I talk about my past its in terms of events, the age 20 or age 25 ect is just a boring reference.

Then :) because theres so much excitement in the office right now to actually get back to work, I looked up "Chronicle" for the definition of "a record or narrative of past events". So that also leans towards descriptive titles I think.

I for one am very interested to see your life story as it seems fascinating from what small anectdotes I've heard. My thought on the title. Individual titles. Make each film unique, yet cohesive in the context of each other.

thanks for your great input, you do stand correct.

But my story is not just chronicles, it is
"Live chronicles" which stands for the narrating of events as they are happening, so this are not only to be a narrative of events, but also of history, and as the specification of the word its self, a record of time past and present, a register of accounts of facts and events disposed in the order of time.

I do however knew from the start where I wanted to go with this, but just wanted to make sure, that I was on the correct path, as this is no doubt the most important project of my life, and it will be likely the last as well.


So once agin thank you so much for your votes, suggestions and kind words of support, as this do mean so much to me in deed.

This community is ,in short, will be given, first hand, the glimps of the most ambitious project ever to hit the screen in Cinema History.

Please forgive my "ARROGANCE" but as time is precious I have none to spare in hiding my true fillings about my plans and what is is to come.

I'm just a simple Man with an unprecedented project, which will be made, not just by my knowledge or the very little to none experience, but by my will to do it and my strength to lead and guide those that do have the experience, and as we all very well know, movies are not made by a man alone, but a great group of talented and dedicated professionals, which give it all for that individual project in which they believe.


I'd better stop writing before I start Crying!
