Assuming RED makes a 4/3 mount, would this lens work on Scarlet S35?

Would there be vignetting?

I'm asking because I'm planning on getting an AF100, if I can keep this lens once I upgrade to Scarlet S35 then I might pick it up.

It would cover 3K for sure. Probably not 4k, definitely not 5k.

David: Will we have user definable windowing on Epic? If not it would be nice if Red would implement a 4/3 compatible window so we can use these nice f2.0 zooms as well as some other nice 4/3 lenses. Seems like quadHD might be a hair too large but a 3.5K Alexa-like window might be pretty cool.

The problem with the 4/3 zooms is that their range is kinda awkward for 2/3".

This influx of 4/3 cams makes me wish that the Fixed Scarlet was 4/3, however the constant aperture of f2.4 of the fixed lens might change my mind when I finally use it.

Red S35 Quad HD calculates to an image circle of 23.53mm approx.

Defined image circle for 4/3 is 22mm. Full coverage of the Red format will depend on how generous the lens coverage is. Be interesting to try. It is only about 7% larger image diameter.

Theoretically 4/3 is an open licensed standard, so Red should be able to build fully compliant electronic mounts and lens controls. Certainly make a great 3k shooting option at least.
