OLPF Question

is it possible to use a Super35 OLPF in a Monstro 8K camera?

The Super35 OLPF is clearly smaller than the FF Monstro sensor but the image is fine. No cropping. No vignetting.

Wondering if anyone has any input.

If you put ARRI signatures on there is heavy vignettes/restriction.

Some lenses with exit pupils close the film plane will be fine but I woundn’t risk it for 8k,7k and 6.5k without extensive testing

I’ve noticed the same issue with ARRI signatures causing noticeable vignetting, especially when pushing high-res footage like 8K or 7K. Some lenses handle it better if the exit pupils are closer to the film plane, but it’s definitely something you’d want to test extensively before shooting.
