OLPF in E-W looks different to the website

I noticed that all 3 OLPFs i got with the E-W don't look like the OLPFs shown on the website. Mine don't have the circular cuts that are shown on the main site

Instead the plastic is just the rectangle. In a different thread i was having an issue with a M mount lens lugs hitting the OLPF and i wonder whether it's because mine aren't cut like the ones on the site which look bigger overall but have those semi-circular cuts in the plastic top and bottom.

Any ideas?

They told me to keep the OLPFS from the SW as they will fit in the EW...

NOTE: The DSMC2 Standard OLPF is compatible with WEAPON® 8K S35, WEAPON 6K, EPIC-W 8K, and SCARLET-W 5K cameras.

And what do the SW ones look like, are they like they are on the website?

I've dropped a line to Red to see if i can find out the details. But it appears they may have changed the design slightly and in doing so may made it more difficult to use some lenses (admittedly perhaps the more unusual lenses).

I'm assuming i could probably take a knife to the plastic though. But would like some kind of official response

i'vechecked in on this with kipper tie also.
The design has just been revised since it's initial release.
The picture on the site and also camera bodies from the spring has the older design.
THere is no compatibility issues

I have asked at Red. The only 'issue' is that it seems physical smaller and this lens hits the plastic on infinity.

I've sort of been assuming i could cut away at the plastic with a sharp knife and make it bigger, but i'm a bit loath to do that just yet! I'm also assuming the role of the plastic is to cut down reflections off the back of a lens mount or something.

i see. i've never tried m-mount lenses on the dsmc 2 so you are probably right.
I think leica came out with shims for the m-mounts to use with their new lens. i would look into that
