  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Old Epic MX • Dance film

Very nice work! I still work with the old MX at times also. It's nice to see the MX is getting some love. Great job.
 
Very well done! I would love to use this video as an example in an ongoing argument I often have with dancers. One of the sticking points always seems to be that they have developed an intricate choreography which they want filmed. But I always say that trying to capture their choreography, which was designed for the stage, is an exercise in futility because it goes against the very medium of film. In this piece all we see are disjointed moments and micro-movements expressing the beauty of the movement of the human body. And it works incredibly well. Choreography in the traditional sense doesn't apply. But because of this some dancers feel that they are relegated to second place.
