AFAIK, TODD AO only did spherical lenses on 65/70mm format.

WTF is this?!?! Is it for ToddAO 65/70?? 125mm T1.7.

They (TODD AO) did produce a series of anamorphic lenses.

Suggestion:
Try sending Chris Probst a PM here on REDUser and/or try contacting Jay Holben (also based in LA).
They are collaborating on a comprehensive book that promises to be the bible for cine glass.

Another option is to post this question on Dave Mullen's thread on REDUser.

Good luck!

Got it along with two K-35s...18mm T1.5 and 35mm T1.4

Ohhh boy. Just got a 35mm F1.3 from the same set...TODD-AO 35 "ULTRA-FAST"

Anyone able to identify what this may have been based on? Is it Zeiss? Canon? At F1.3 I doubt it's photo glass.

believe they had 7 aperture blades into the 80's, but yes it could be. going to find one to check against it when it arrives.

The 125mm is a different story, very interesting lens

Hmmm I wonder (for the 125) if there's an extra speed boosting element in it that takes it from a longer lens (say a 135) and a T2 to a T1.7?

would be interesting...somehow I doubt though, as the image circle is over 70mm diameter. massive. which makes the lens that much more interesting/incredible...

and means it will play nicely with one of my other treasures:

Hmmm fascinating. I mean Hasselblad had a 110mm F2, but that was for their F series (that had no curtain). Presumably cinema cameras have similar spacing, so your 125mm starts to make more sense. Thanks for sharing dude!

My pleasure!! Will share some stills and/or footage as soon as I get a BNCR adapter. Have only tested with sloppy handholding for now.
