Okay this one is new

So my Camera went out on a rental to someone who I have rented to before. I upgraded to 21 a few weeks ago and have had no problems at all. here is the kicker he saw all the stuff on playback in camera, but quicktime reference movies show him nothing. thinking it was just the codec i instructed him to update it. he did and still nothing. I assume I will figure it out in the morning when he stops by to resolve the issue, but in the interest of time, Any ideas?

Has he opened up the R3D files in something like RED ALERT? If so, there's nothing to worry about, my recommendation would be to regenerate the quicktime proxies which can be easily done through RED RUSHES.

probably has an older version of the qt codec or older versions of RA or not Redcine-x
