  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

OK, took the plunge, now nothing works...

NOW is a good time, as I have some time to get friendly with my new cam

Upgraded.
Would not boot...

Eventually:

1st thing - LCD looks all wacky

Answer:
Just relax, do black shade calibration

Did that.

Still looks totally messed up

Magenta everything and green dots flimmering everywhere.

So?

Will try to reinstall the build, but...

Hm... won't re-install???
 
Hahahaha sorry but I've been reading you wanting to upgrade posts a little everywhere on the forum.

To start with you did the upgrade path with the final build 15 provided in the 16 upgrade package?

Try to go up in the upgrades and then downgrade again etc.

Don't you have to install an earlier version of the build to and then reinstall 3.1.8?
 
It's fine. Just laugh!

This was the right time... well sorta... if I have a cam to test with tomorrow...

But where are older versions of build 16?
 
On the support site in build history?

I guess not. I might have one I can e-mail to you.
 
Maybe some one else has an earlier version they can e-mail to you. I don't have one.
 
It´s True!, where is the 3.1.6 and 3.1.5??
We are deciding this days what to do about upgrade or not...

To elaborate, it looks like the pixels are offset (+ green goo and magenta cast)

It is a LCD playback issue...

Fredric sent me 3.1.6, I'll try that

Weirdities continue

After a long shutdown, the LCD was ok.

Rebooted.

Back in whack.

i'm pretty sure this is not a cable issue as it started while the cam was standing peacefully on a table updating itself.

When it came back, I installed 3.1.6, sent by Fredrik, but I wonder if 3.1.5 might be da stuff...

In case: Why isn't it up anymore...


Anyhow. Still 18 hours to go...

Got all the builds downloaded. 3.1.2 and 3.1.5. Do you still need them gunleik?
 
It's been a lot on and off. But after I got hold of the incremental upgrades (Thanks Kjetil!!!) things seems fine.

The behaviour was so random for a while that I thought I had success, and then it wasn't, but I hope things have stabilized now!
