  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Ohmygosh...

This sounds good... but truth is that I just threaten to shoot them all in the back of the head if they don't get the job done... or even think about leaving. :-)

Jim

Typical meeting at Red Lair?

Or even warmed. Ever tried cask strength Macallan warmed up a bit? Oooh... Quite fantastic actually and the aroma was amazing.

Graeme

God, how many whisky's do you need to drink before you can actualy enjoy the "taste" of it. Its taken me years to be able to enjoy the specific taste of specific beers. I always need some coke in my whisky to enjoy it. Then again I'm only 19..

I'm not much older than you are; but most cheap whiskeys aren't worth drinking straight anyways. The stuff Graeme is talking about here is SMOOTH. You would NOT want a coke anywhere near this grade of Whiskey.:nono:

See, at least someone knows how to motivate their employees.

i am so gonna start wearing a RED twirly hat and sunglasses to meetings :)

Fez, Jarred.

When I was 18 my father was sent over to Iran to talk about designing and building entire cities, he asked what I wanted and without hesitation I said "A RED Fez".
Still got it..... I think they originate in Egypt but not sure.

You tell me -- how similar does this model look to GM?
You can't compare apples to oranges ... it's not even the same world ... GM has CAFE standards and politicians to deal with ... the GM world is bizzaro world ... there is no logic. It's certainly not free enterprise.

Very Werner Herzog...

Most companies and other cooworkers kill your motivation, so no wonder it looks how it looks.

Good to know as I sit here making plans for the Reduser event. Note to self: Don't F*@k up or perhaps have a metal plate installed in back of head.

Sorry Jim this NAB without Scarlet, the number one product to lookout for will FCP Studio 3:yikes:.

I don't think it's about how many you've had, this may sound lame but I really think the appreciation comes to you (or not) a little later in time (age). It may be the same with beer. Maybe you would appreciate the specific tastes of beers without having had all the ones you've had before. Where are you located by the way? If in the US, and really only 19, you shouldn't even be drinking beer, let alone whisky!

Anyhow, for the story, I learned to appreciate whisky with a 92 year old woman in Egypt, I was 30 at the time, and no I wasn't wearing a fez.

Cheers,
Damien

Any news regarding the changes? Perhaps there were some hints at the Red Party at NAB?

Things are changing again?

Due to discoveries, competition, boredom and obsessive/compulsive disorders... Scarlet and EPIC have changed again.

Just when you thought you have settled in to your normal routine and begun to think you know what RED is doing... we have gone and changed the playing field one more time. Development is a combination of what we can do, what we think we can do, what our competitors can do, what our competitors think we will do and what we just figured out what we really can do. Which is it? All of the above.

Rejoice... this is the RED way.

Jim

This is the Necromonger way.
