SPLINTERHEADS

Splinterheads writer/director Brant Sersen's first feature film, Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story is a hilarious cult comedy smash that won several awards including the 2004 Audience Award at South by Southwest Film Festival, the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award at the 2004 Oxford Film Festival, a Special Jury Prize at the 2004 Lake Placid Film Festival and the 2004 Audience Award at IFFB.

Director of Photography is MICHAEL SIMMONDS who was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Cinematography in 2007 for Man Push Cart.

The film stars Rachael Taylor. If you don't know who she is ... well ... wait until you see her in 4K!

Our goal is to provide Red cameras and services to a total of 10 Independent Feature Films before the end of the year. We are at 6 now.

#1: Asylum Seekers
#2: Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Undead
#3: Toe To Toe
#4: Mystery Team
#5: Gilbonious Legionnaires
#6: Splinterheads

I'll be launching a blog before IBC called OffhollywoodBuzz.com and we'll be doing photo galleries and video clips from behind-the-scenes of projects we are involved in - that should be fun!

Congratulations, Mark. Looking forward to the behind-the-scenes pixs, clips and stories.

If you need help getting to ten this year, I'll pitch you a couple of mine!

Mr. Pederson, you're an inspiration!

Can you let us know when and where we can view these features? I'd like to be able to watch one, downloaded (?) or hardcopy, popcorn in hand, just like a real movie! ;>)

**Of course in a theatre would be best. We've got a couple of great independents here in Taipei, and some excellent films come through during various filmfests. Check the net?**

Congrats, Mark.

Oh no, not another movie, Mark. :-) Keep up the good work.

Graeme

Yes. Indeed. I believe you. :-)

Geez, you guys are funny, playing off all the negativity, with this great positivity! (Is that a word? It is now!).

Mark, can't wait for your blog.

Will you be posting it here on Reduser.net like David did with the Manure shoot? If so, hope you will throw in a few shooting pointers or problems and fixes you may encounter.

Great..

We have done a few work with RED, but partially only
Still looking for chance to do a full feature...

We interested in POST works, up to DI master and 35mm film master..

I based in Hong Kong

We use different workflows for different types of projects - but all of these features cut, or are cutting, on FCP with 1K prores transcodes rendered in Compressor with dailies on DVDs with burn-in TC.

We are developing on a web based dailies solution for the iPhone as well.
