  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

OFFHOLLYWOOD in HAITI

I'm with Steve, choked up and have not seen one frame. Truely inspirational bringing this sad disaster to people around the world. Good luck.

Good job guys! Anything which keeps media attention on to this, and therefore giving, aid and the political pressure on those with power to make long-term changes happening, is excellent. I have ten friends that have been in Haiti, and have some of their footage (not red) and photos on my hard drive. It is crucial to keep up the public awareness on the really critical ongoing needs in Haiti.

The Norwegian "we are the world" video was shot on Red, too. Norwegian Broadcasting Corp and Motion Blur supplied the cams, as mine was on a feature in Iraq...

Patrick if your trying to make some kind of jab at Offhollywood or all the artists and people who put alot of time,equipment and pure heart into this then your comments are not needed here. Whatever you feel your entitled to that. we are not profiting from this nor did we charge for our services or cameras.

We worked on this project really hard and I dont take kindly to you posting your contrived political statements.
 
So what did you do for Haiti Patrick?

What I like about the video is that it does not show unhappy people. It shows people with hope who are keeping their heads up despite the devastating situation. We should donate our ressources. Respect for that!
 
Every thing is just fine guys!

I just was amaized that the first flag that was blowing in the wind at Haiti airport was a US flag. But great that the us army helped.

Just was amaized that the only song all these great artists could sing is "We are the world" dated from 1985. But great help from all these artists.

Just was amaized that looking at the pict Offhollywood sent we saw people proud of their REDone's.

Great that everyone can help. But we can also understand who the people are we are helping and be less imperialists!

My 2 cent, you like it or not.

BTW other countries/poeple helped.

Well this is the REDUser forum, so they post pictures of their people with their RED's, what's wrong about that?

How can one's view about charity be so negative?

Let me ask again, what did YOU do for the cause, not "other countries/people"?
