I would say the fashion photographers will be very happy with RED Dragon.

Below are some images from the latest Offhollywood R3Ds.

Workflow is as simple as possible:

Using PS6 that of course has installed R3D plug in.

Imported in PS6 using RCX plug in with REDLogFilm color space.

After that work in PS6 using another one plug in:

Nik Software, Color Efex Pro, Film Modern with a look of legendary

Kodak Ektachrome 400X Professional Film.

That's all, very simple and fast with making just a couple of clicks.

Brightness and contrast can be adjusted accordingly just to to reach any anticipation of a customer's needs and desires.

I hope you will enjoy it.

Yeah Luigi,

supposed to be that Dragon is the best all-rounder camera ever made in all of history.

Can be used for photo, video, web, blockbuster, 3D, slowmotion, handheld, underwater, space,

Hollywood, Bollywood, independent filmmaking, commercial, science, military, home movies, ...etc...

Just count: Dragon can be with in use with its the highest image quality for 99.97% at any type of movie making.

Only not of 0.01% when you want to attach camera on a lion or eagle (than should use GoPro Hero 3+ or similar...),

0.01% when you want to have extreme slow motion of 1000 fps @ 4K (than should use Phantom 4K or similar...)

and 0.01% when you want to have extreme low light performance @ 4K (than should use Canon C500).

That's it!!!!!!

... that sounds much better than the pre-mature ramblings i´ve read before in places .... (!)

I find it sad, how little trust and love and confidence goes from parts of the user base to RED during product build up and pre-release of the dragon - from certain people, bashing them in every way "imaginable", just to make a 180 and "have it known all the time" .... ;-)

however, i guess this is how society works in the bigger parts ...

Where has honor and respect gone?

however, love to RED, for the works, the spirit and the products.

:-)

Detlev

Edit:
By the way, i like the looks, Sanjin.

Thanks for posting the files Mark!

Agree Detlev,

RED after several years (6 or 7+) has got it.

The right digital cine camera or a tool is finally here.

All is in your hands or everything depends on how you can deal with a light and how you can process that image/file later in post.

That old photographer/cinematographer workflow is 100% familiar and similar to film shooting.

So we are finally there at the reality of digital = film times and beyond!!!!

We have a 70" SHARP 4K television in our "4K Review Suite" in our facility and I gotta tell you .... this stuff is just jaw dropping in motion in 4K. You need to see it moving in 4K - it's mind melting.

I'm gonna get some more night exteriors tonight because it's so WARM in NYC today! Then, I'll be in the office tomorrow pulling and posting lots of 6K fun for you guys. And then .... I need to cut a little reel of motion and post that next week ...

Hey Mark,

I'm just getting round to this thread and I have to say thanks very much for posting all of this. Really love this Leica Macro as I have that lens. It's stunning, creamy, sharp, colors, everything.

:) hehe

Time to throw out all the expensive lights and get a box of matches and some candles. :)

Mark, can we drop by any time and watch a few clips at your place?
