$2000 off the already $10k discount? that's a good deal!

Jordan, please read the link... I'm offering to sell a newly-upgraded Helium at $2000 (after transfer fee) below the retail price.

So you're basically willing to upgrade your MX to the Epic W and then sell it to someone interested for 27k, while you walk away with a 7k and they save 2k vs buying it at a retail price. Much easier way explaining it as opposed to your convoluted post lol

I am offering either the brain as-is, or offering to sell the upgraded camera at a discount.
The wording is quite clear and concise for the two options. It states the $27,000 net price. It states the $2,000 net discount. It states that it is an trade-in/upgrade. I'm not sure why you're confused... not to mention snarky.

And yes, what you call "walking away with $7000" -- as if I'm cheating someone-- is this: I'm doing is getting $7,000 out of the $34,000 investment I made in the Epic X brain, which also happens to be less than anyone is selling an Epic-X for, if you check the listings. If you find someone willing to throw away a perfectly good Epic, AND sell a brand new, unopened Helium at a $2000 loss, I encourage you to buy it.

Just an FYI as I just went the through the upgrade process. As part of the upgrade deal Red requires that you sign terms stating that you will not sell or transfer the camera for at least 90 days. The contact says that you maybe charged the difference minus $1 for not complying. Not sure how seriously Red enforces this but just thought you may want to know.

Lovely. Thanks for the heads-up, Josh. That's really effed up. Since they control the ownership transfer process, I'm sure they must police it. Simply the latest in a very long, very disappointing relationship with RED.
