I've owned a RED now for almost 7 years...and it's been an amazing experience and I have enjoyed every minute of it.

As a new adventure begins for me...I'll continue to shoot on the most amazing camera ecosystem out there, it's just in my nature, it's in my blood.

To Jim, Jarred, Ian, Brian, Graeme and everyone else at RED who's helped me along the way...thanks!

And to all the RU's...too many to list...you know who you are...thank you!

Love all you guys!

Nice! Thanks for all you do for the Red community. I'vw taken advantage of several of your terrific group buys over the years. I know they are time-consuming.

Nice work.

Just my personal preference, but I would avoid returning to the same work in a reel. That is, when you include shots from a commercial or narrative work, never return in the reel to that work again. Returning to the same work suggests that you lack a large enough body of quality work to make for a reel and you are having to re-use the same piece of work.

Samples from one piece of work should be grouped together and the reel should never return to that same piece of work. The viewer should only be given content from "new" pieces of work not already visited. In that way the reel is progressive and never circular, or "regressive".

If I am looking to hire a DP and in their reel they are re-using the same pieces of work it will cause me to suspect that they don't have all that much work under their belt.

That is kind of discouraging mentality for someone who is a younger and growing DP, with not that much work under their belt. How do you face this challenge as a DP who is starting out but finds that they don’t have enough content in a reel without going back to it?

Yea...I just love coming back to various projects sometimes...totally guilty. hehe

Thanks for the feedback though.
