Octava Mic mount

Hi All,

I'm the proud owner of an MK012 for my Red, just for guide audio on music vids etc. However I need to find a handy way of attaching it to the camera/19mm bars. I don't know the size of the thread on the bottom on the mic, but it's BIG! Anyone had any good ideas or is it destined to be gaffered for the rest of it's days???

You may be able to use a combination of these microphone clips and adapters to attach your microphone to your 19mm Rods...

A Bogen Nanoclamp 386B, a 3/8 to 5/8 adapter, a couple of 3/8 bolts, and a home made bracket should do the trick.

You're going to want to get the KSSM shock mount for it regardless.

Otherwise you WILL get a lot of handling noise.

Good shock mount with the Nano clamp and the adapter will get you there.

This mount is a bit cheaper and works well.
