  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

up for sale is my modernized and over all good 50. Head is 100% in a good working condition. It was fully refurbished 5 years ago, new brakes, New tilt lock upgraded to stronger screw, new silicone gaskets and new type silicone hydraulic fluid ware added. Several years back i shoot in some extreme sub-zero, conditions with this head and it performed like a charm. new Manfrotto 100mm half ball is added over mini-Mitchell and new Axler, Manfrotto type sliding balance QR plate is added. Head is dry, it has no oil leaks, spirit bubble is full and working. Pan and Tilt locks work. pan and tilt drag adjustment work proper. Movements are smooth and fluid.

Head will come with:

- 140mm sliding balance QR palate

- 1x 1/4 and 1x 3/8 tie down screws

- Head tie down

- Original standard pan bar

- Original short pan bar


Counter balance is permanently engaged and on all old O'cconors and its preset to only one strength. this is only possible to repair technician at the shop. I have optional, "less" strong, 300lb spring installed. this is sufficient for Epic with 25-250mm and 6x6 mattbox but its still OK for smaller configuration. If you are expecting 1030DS then you will be disenchanted, because 50 is not sophisticated and wont offer you so much fine adjustments. However its a good over all head that will serve you good for long time.

Mr Jamon, if you want to drag this in public i have no problem with that. price was 600$ and i reeducated it by 100$. you offered me 525$ shipping included and asked me to use FedEx because " You hate USPS". Fedex quote for shipping was 298CAD and i wont for pay that! You agreed to CanadaPost/USPS that comes to 70$, but you still didnt want to pay more then 25$ for shipping... i wont pay for your shipping. price is 500$ + shipping, have a nice day!

Wow, I see it doesn't pay to take the high rode with some people, just when I decided not to air you out on this forum... First off i'm a long time RU and have have had many successful transactions from long time RUs ,( check my record) both buying and selling, with absolutely no problem, very clear and considerate of the buyers and sellers.

As I stated in the text to you - "I would do the deal for $525 shipping included", that was my OFFER, you replied and said "The head is yours" 2 text messages later in which additional costs were NOT discussed. You saying "The head is yours" says that you accepted my offer. All of a sudden you get something up your behind that has nothing to do with me and want to renege on the deal. Then on top of that you LIE in you post & say "Seller backed away from the deal" before you even reached back out to me, that was the reason I posted "Wow, really.."! Funny thing I would have paid the addition $25 over the amount I was willing to pay even though we had a deal, and you stoop to this lowness...

Guys I don't like to put out negativity even when it's warranted, so take this as a word of caution, stay away from this seller.
 
You Mr Lewis this is cheap shot and regardless of how many posts you have on this forum, you are acting immature... i did nothing but expect you to pay a your shipping, nothing more nothing less! On the other hand i did everything to accommodate you. Clearly i kept you informed and updated; answered all your emails PM's and texts, went out of my way to get you quotes for all possible shipping options; answered all technical questions and so on. now you are calling me liar in and sabotaging my tread just because i decided not to sale to you due to your bad manners and constant low-balling. i have NEVER agreed to pay your shipping and that is. bottom line is this: i choose who i am going to deal with and i am in no obligation to sale anything to a bully. If this makes me bad seller and if this is why people should stay a way from me then so be it, but i wont pay for your shipping! have a nice day and good luck

I have bought several items from Luka in the past and never had any problems.
He was always a very kind seller.
