Hey everyone,

So I'm not sure if this is a common issue with this combo, but my matte box doesn't really line up with the red DSMC quick plate. Feel like the matte box needs to be raised up higher, but shouldn't this line up with lens in the middle of opening of mattebox already? See attached photo for reference. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You may have mounted your LW15 bracket too low or perhaps upside down. Can you take a picture of the front of your camera without the matte-box so we can see?

Here's some more photos. I have the ogrips with 15mm rods. Apologize for attached photos...for some reason keeps turning photos on side when I upload.

Your lightweight 15mm rods are set up at the wrong height, i.e. that Oconnor bracket is used incorrectly. You can't use the 15mm and 19mm together like in the photo.

Matt posted the bracket you can use to attach your matte box to your rod bridge that you already own.

The adapter is for 19mm so does that mean it only works with a rod bridge with 19mm fittings on the bridge? It looks like this may help with the height problem I'm having.

I'm not sure the bracket Matt linked to helps move the mattebox up any if I'm not mistaken. I have the 15mm LWS rod bridge with 19mm on the outside. I also have an O'Connor manual FF I've been scratching my head how to properly get it to work without hitting the O-grips AND reach the lens gears.

Sam,

Here is my former OBox. I had the same setup, but also had the adapter which connected to the 19mm bridge. This is how it should look. The 15mm on mine was stored on top.

Mark that makes perfect sense. Wondering which of these adapters I should buy, worried 19mm one won't fit into the 15mm holes on the rod bridge or is it 15mm anyways? Product description is a little confusing since the rod bridge is both 19mm and 15mm. The 15mm adapter looks offset for some reason.
