Hi

I have a CFF1 which was fine until this week when it started to show some signs of back lash on the knob, like two millimeters.

Does someone knows what do I have to do to make it new again ?

the two screws on the knob maybe

contact Jim Elias, he's a member here - he'll walk you through the adjustment options. I think there is a video online somewhere, but don't remember where...

I had that problem when it was shipped new. If you loosen the two screws on the back, you can adjust the tension on the belt inside the knob. Just hold the knob upright in a normal operating position, loosen the set screws, apply pressure down on the section with the screws, and tighten them back up.

That's right, just make sure you do this with the handwheel attached to the main bridge (i.e. pushed on to limit and clamped). Everything locates into operating position when attached to the bridge, that's how we can make the drive couplings backlash-free.

Bérenger, feel free to contact me if you have any trouble: jim (dot) elias (at) vitecgroup (dot) com.
