First of all, please pardon me if I am posting this in the wrong section and feel free to guide me to the right spot. This post is a question regarding the O'Connor 50 fluid head.
I had been a RED user for a little over a year now and had finally upgraded to the big-boy's club of fluid head after I got my O'Connor 50 head in the mail. It was equipped with a Peter Lisand mount, a bowl mount with leveling handle. I am trying to remove the base of the bowl to fit it on my O'Connor wooden stick, however, unlike my Manfrotto 504HD, the base leveling handle only unscrew so far and it stopped, preventing it from disassembling completely to be located on my tripod.
I noticed there is a small roll pin (see last photo) toward the top of the leveling handle, do I need to punch out the pin to disassemble the bowl? I do have some pin punch around.
Any advise will help! Thank you in advance!
