Obligatory first impressions and video!

So seems like everyone is having their "Day of the Dragon!" I think I was honestly more excited about getting my Dragon than I was when I got my Scarlet a couple years ago! My how far we've come!

Anyway, as many of us do, I couldn't wait to get my baby out in the wild and shoot something, anything, anywhere! So I went to the site of one of my first videos and just shot for a half hour with whatever sunlight I had left, good test right? It's cold in NY so a half hour was all I could stand!

I'm sure I'll get to more technical stuff later, but my does the camera look good in low light. It came with the LLOLPF preinstalled.

So here's a quick clip, in 4k, and a few stills! All shot 6k with available light, ISO between 800 and 1600. Tokina 11-16mm and Canon 70-200mm.

Thanks guys. Had my first real shoot yesterday and I'm already noticing differences.

Love how fast it blackshades, and how well it keeps in range.

Range on the sensor especially in the highlights is pretty amazing. There were so many moments where I would say "Wow, I can't believe the sensor isn't clipping yet."

Camera get's hot! I noticed my top plate above the exhaust fan is pretty toasty. This normal? I heard a while back the Dragon loves heat.

It's very quiet. Fans don't seem to be going into leaf blower mode like ever.

Noticing one bug. After enabling "pinch to zoom 1:1" it randomly zooms in 1:1 all by itself. Not a huge deal but I suppose it could get annoying.

DEB is like a little magic button, wish it worked on all my Epic footage.
