What is the best option for 4K Editing as of Oct 2016.

Which Series is best if we use Adobe Suite for full Editing (using Premiere Pro, After Effects, Speed Grade..)

The current high-end cards are Quadro M5000 and GeForce GTX 1080
I found some comparisons with older cards but they are outdated.

Please suggest.

I'm having trouble finding any NON-GAMING laptops or mobile workstations with GTX 1080.

Can we use Gaming Laptops for Video Editing? Any disadvantages?

i found solution for my question: GTX cards are better for Premiere Pro than Quadro.

Hardware is Hardware.

I have a gtx 780! It's an older generation card but I have realtime playback at 1/4 with my 4.5k raven on premiere pro 2017! And remember to look at CUDA cores also!

Hardware is Hardware.

This is the most important thing to look at. I bet if there is a "workstation laptop", it would be at least 25% more expensive for the same hardware. (Look at Apple for example, lol) A GTX 980M is a GTX 980M, doesn't matter what casing it is in, and how they market it. Just get a laptop with the specs you're looking for, and the aesthetic that pleases you.

Pascal (2016) Titan X is top dog for most things right now. The 1080ti looks to be really competitive when it gets released.
I agree, I got one of these and editing 8K raw has been pretty good. Biggest improvement is actually from your read/write. Once you get NVME SSD (3000mb/s) or a big RAID, it gets a lot faster. Samsung just made a new killer NVME, 2TB: http://www.samsung.com/us/computing...state-drives/ssd-960-pro-m-2-2tb-mz-v6p2t0bw/
That was the price I paid for my Intel NVME 1.2TB and the Samsung is even faster (3500mb/s read). Worth every penny to get one of these IMO (if you have the motherboard and CPU that can support it), it was the biggest improvement from any of my PC upgrades. 8 Cores, 64GB ram, titan GTX, none of those came close to the improvement I got from NVME
