Has anybody had any luck modifying the Null lens for use for Epic? If so who performed this procedure? I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do with it.
More than likely will try to sell it if I can't find a way to get it modified.
Evidently it's a milling issue, but am not sure I would trust it to a local machinist. Thanks in advance for any info.

Red Null won't work on Epic/Scarlet

Nope.
Don't even try it....
Abel, who sold the Null, stated that it isn't possible to use the Null on the Epic...and I had Visual Products try to devise a combo machining and optical modification, and they also determined that it is impossible.
Go buy a Red Focus.
I ended up owning both....
Now we need a way to check back focus on the Canon mount...I'm sure that will be another $2,000 or $3,000 purchase!
Nuts.

Actually, one client has done it by machining away the metal of the housing near the rear element. Then the NULL works fine on EPIC/Scarlet.

We're working on a way to setup a service to mod current units. But it's been slow-going.
