  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hey guys,

Tried to search for an answer but the forum doesn't have the easiest navigation. Saw Jarred's 'UK and US can order on November 3rd' post and am kind of freaking now, I live in Canada.

Any word if we up here will be able to order on day one? I figured it'd be possible since it's probably through paypal and it's barely international from the states, but that post, ooo its got me worried.

He just meant from the US or UK OFFICE, not that only people from those countries could order.

Don't worry, all is good.
 
After the whole Justin Bieber thing I think RED decided to blacklist Canada . . .
 
I cannot wait to pick one up either, Aaron. You've been waiting a heck of a lot longer than I have, but I've got Scarlet Fever now too! Erm... wait a sec...

Patrick, the Scarlet will be ready to rock and roll on Nov 3rd. If you have a credit card and can get on to Red.com on that day, orders will be taken no matter where you live, you will just have to pay shipping/taxes etc. ;) also, just between you and me, you may want to head over there now and create an account, save some time come Nov 3 ;)
 
If you live in Europe, should go ahead and order on the website and PM the office in UK for further details, or will they automatically take care of the order?
 
I hope scarlet ship to any part of world as soon as possible.
 
It'll be interesting to see the shipping and tax costs for the UK - I wonder if Red Europe have this all sorted out? Don't particularly relish being hit with £2000 import duty and VAT :(

I asked a while ago.......you will be able to order online (via the RED Store) to the UK (RED Europe).

When I've ordered minor stuff from RED Europe previously ,via telephone/email, the invoice has been in £'s inclusive (I'm not sure what the currency would be for our continental European neighbours). By the way, the prices were more or less as the $ pricing adjusted for sales tax.

Pinewood confirmed Jarred's post for me, i.e. UK online orders possible on November 3rd, so hopefully invoicing will be similar.

I guess it'll be a case of ordering on the 3rd, and hoping I wont be hit with a £1500 bill when the camera arrives :) - Either way, I think I'll be ordering :D
