I will be posting info for both EPIC and Scarlet here on "locked threads"... which means you will be locked out from responding. It allows me to make several posts, with pictures, and provide info in an orderly fashion.

Please begin your discussions of our announcements on the EPIC forum or Scarletuser.

Info will also be posted on www.red.com.

Thanks for your patience and support.

Will the upgrade path for Red One also be revealed (Sensor replacement specs etc.)? Im 93,2% sure I will want to upgrade to Epic, but hey who knows?

How come that Epic gets filed under scarletuser?

Martin, Epic at Epic FORUM and Scarlet at scarletuser, not Epic at scarletuser

Exciting!

Any chance of an add-on RAM module for high-speed work, pre-processing, right off the chip at max clockspeed...in liquid nitrogen...black silicon...

It's a good idea to post the info in locked threads, so we don't have to sift through hundreds of pages to get to the good stuff.

Just to be clear, the info for Scarlet will be posted in the Recon section of REDuser? Or will you make a locked thread over at ScarletUser as well?

Can't wait!

Only "more than 10" Epics? Ya wimp!

Seriously, my proof of concept stage was obviously over early on too. This time around, with the multiple Epic and Scarlet cameras I buy, it will be to have my crews "head right out and get mind-boggling images".

Gonna be fun...
