  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

November 13th... prep.

Could this be bigger than Y2K? Love the countdown clock. It actually amplifies the anxiety. Must...get...back...to...work...

It would be way cooler if they used the "doomsday clock" and each day set it a little closer to midnight. BTW, I'm available for consulting for a reasonable fee.

seems to indicate the DSMC will be included on the 13th.

I always thought this pic looked a lot like the back of a DSLR. Maybe Jim is actually showing us what DSMC will look like...

November 13th is my daughter's birthday. Her name is Scarlett. This is a true story.

Nah just put us all in debt!

I hope Epic does´t start shipping untill we get the dollar back down to a more reasonable rate...

There isn't a person in the world who is more happy about this than me, I have been waiting for something like this for 10 years. I am going to quite my job as a web designer and write/direct a feature, I just started a 4 weeks time editing course this week and I'm planning to start writing the scrip within a few weeks.

My only fear is that all this hype and the new specs are designed to soften the blow of a much longer waiting period, and that on the 13th we will discover that we have another year of waiting before we can actually put our hands on a camera.... :-(

I'm really psyched for this, luckily I can roll out of bed and it should be announced. The only sad thing is that I'll have to wait at least 6 months to have one in my hands.

No need to wait. The Red One is here right now and is making incredible images. Honestly Jim, what is better than my R1?

I'm confused - what time is the announcement? The clock has 12 more hours on it than it did this morning.... originally it was 8PM (EDT) Wed. and now it's 8AM (EDT) Thurs.
