Notify when Scarlet becomes available

[Hessler]

I would like to know if there is a way to get notified when Scarlet becomes available, is there such a function here or in red.com

[chommavong somphane]

would love that, will be at the line to put my e-mail in.

If you check any filmmaking site on that day .... it will be front page news. In fact there will be several ... "Scarlet available next week" stories, and "Scarlet available tomorrow" stories. It will be impossible to miss.

[Joseph Hutson]

I think this would be in the handbook of "How to crash a server. 101" #1 Send out a mass email to 100,000 people so they know to place an order on multiple Scarlets.

[brian hanson]

More than that, any camera/tech blog will announce it, it would be impossible to miss unless you were actually out shooting ha

[Joseph Hutson]

I guess you can follow me on Twitter at @Hutson or @SUpodcast?

yes man, me too :cheers2:

[Jim Retar]

A cell phone text/sms system would be good.... 5am text and i'd be up like a shot with a credit card in hand

[David Rasberry]

I'll be happy to notify anyone by e-mail...
Right after I get mine!:biggrin5:

[Detlev Eller]

... crashing servers are easy to prevent ... using multiples thereof and segmenting the mail accordingly ... basic load balancing 101 ...

Having an opt-in / interest list for product announcements would be a nice thing ... :sifone:

true.

I guess "the concern" is,
especially for us on this forum,
to be just a little bit ahead of the crowd ...
and not end up order no#'xxxxxxx' ...

... which goes probably pretty fast anyway ...

Hey, thanks, that's really nice of you to... wait a minute! What if you get the last one available? You bastard!

[Alex Sutherland]

A Google News alert would do.

[Detlev Eller]

The source is preferable to the aggregator ...

i´ve got quite a few of those and they are not reliable for mission critical real time alerts ...
